wrongful death - freeway accident
This action involved a wrongful death of 54 year old male survived by his wife and
four (4) adult children. At approximately 3:00 a.m., on January 10, 2005, decedent was
driving a 2001 Ford F-150 pick-up truck eastbound on the I-60 Freeway. It was raining
heavy off and on all night. While traveling eastbound decedent’s vehicle spun out of
control and collided with the center divider. The decedent’s vehicle came to rest extending
sideways across the center median and into the number one lane.

This action involved a multiple vehicle accident wherein Plaintiffs’ car was crushed
in between Defendant’s big-rigs and a pick up truck. At the time of the accident, Plaintiffs
were completely stopped in traffic, when Defendant’s employee, rear ended Plaintiffs’
vehicle and pushed their car into the pick up truck in front of them. Defendant’s employee
admitted that instead of applying his brakes and downshifting, he believed that he could
downshift only to stop his big-rig.

This action involved a tragic incident wherein on July 10, 2001, Defendant truck
driver was driving an a semi-truck in the course and scope of his employment delivering
beer. Defendant truck driver became distracted by a bee that flew in the window of the
truck. While trying to kill the bee with a check guarantee stamper Defendant truck driver
crossed over the center divider of state route 74 and struck the vehicle in which, Plaintiff
was a passenger. The impact was head-on at approximately 50 mph. As a result of the
incident, Plaintiff sustained severe injuries.

burn injuries because Defendant manufacturer knowingly sold a hula skirt to Plaintiff that
was not made from suitable fabric and possessed extraordinary characteristics of

This action involved a car vs truck accident wherein Plaintiff was eastbound on
Eighth Street, in the City of Los Angeles when Defendant a delivery driver within the course
and scope of his employment, negotiated a left turn mid block in front of Plaintiff’s
automobile. The accident required Plaintiff to wear a leg length cast. While wearing the
cast Plaintiff slipped and fell and re-injured her leg. On the first day of trial Defendants
admitted fault for the collision, but disputed the nature, extent and severity of Plaintiff’s
injuries and damages and disputed causation for the injuries caused as a result of the fall.
